Objective:By measurement of cell factors:GSH (glutathione), NOS (nitric oxide synthase), IL-17 (Interleukin-17) and wet and dry lung weight ratio and pulmonary artery pressure, by statistical analysis, to evaluation the differences of protective effect in pulmonary ischemia reperfusion injury (IRI) between the Low potassium dextran (LPD) solution plus sodium nitroprusside and LPD solution in the model of canine pulmonary ischemia-reperfusion experiments at room temperature in situ. Methods:12 healthy adult hybrid dogs, weight 18~25kg, male or female, randomized, divided into two groups (n=6):control group-LPD preservation solution lavage group, the experimental group-LPD protection solution plus sodium nitroprusside Lavage group. Block the left pulmonary artery, the left lung lavage volume of 1400 ml, filling side wash method: antegrade irrigation, respectively,2,4 hours after reperfusion, blood samples were taken and left lung tissue samples (prepared homogenate), and biochemical determination of GSH, NOS, IL-17 and pulmonary artery pressure, wet and dry lung weight ratio. Results: Cause of lung ischemia-reperfusion injury, increased capillary permeability, inflammatory exudation increased, left lung weight gain, lung injuries were aggravated, the two groups were in lung ischemia-reperfusion injury all had protective effect, to evaluate the the role of protective solution by GSH, NOS, IL-17 and pulmonary artery pressure, lung wet weight ratio, and statistical analysis, there is no significant difference. Conclusion:SNP as a provider of exogenous NO plus LPD solution Comparison LPD solution in the model of canine pulmonary ischemia-reperfusion experiments at room temperature in situ. Through statistical analysis of experimental data obtained, the protective effect on lung was no significant difference. LPD solution did not have effect of lung protection.
