Objective:To study the application of IR-thermal imaging technique on cardiac surgery. Methods:To record the heart thermography after the left anterior descending branch (LAD) being clamped for 60s and undamped for 40s. The temperature change of the apex, the bottom of heart and the proximate area by clamping site was analyzed. Results:The temperature difference is significant in the apex, and nonsignificant in the bottom of heart and the proximate area by clamping site. Conclusion:Infrared thermal imaging technique might be useful for clinical application especially in coronary arterial surgery.
