Diagnosis And Clinic Significance Of Placental Surface Cysts

Objective To explore the diagnosis,clinical course and prognosis of placental surface cysts.Methods 18 pregnant women detected by prenatal ultrasound with placental surface cysts, carrid on an observation to fetuses and pregnancy outcome follow-up study.Rusults Average size of placental surface cysts is (5.2±2.8) cm.1 case was induced abortion.1case was discontinue with tocolytic therapy. Of 16 infants,1 case gave up the preterm infant,15 cases with good pregnancy outcmes.Conclusion Ultrasonography can actual diagnosis for placental surface cysts, no need for special clinical procedures during pregnancy, Regular follow-up of ultrasound examination could help to take in response to abnormal states and reduce adverse pregnancy outcomes.
