Objective:By studing of nonunion tissue from the patients with typical nonunion symptons, assess human hypertrophic nonunion tissue and atrophic nonunion tissue have the same osteogenic ability and microvessel status, also providing a new path to nonunion clinical therapy.Methods:Semi-quantification is performed by using SP immunohistochemical method and IPP6.0 to analyse the expression of BMP-2 and CD34 in nonunion tissues which belonged the patients who were operated in our ward from Oct.2010 to Mar.2011 including male 19 cases, female 9 cases, hypertrophic nonunion 8 cases, atrophic nonunion 20 cases, tibia nonunion 8 cases, femur nonunion 10 cases, neck of femur nonunion 1 case, humerus nonunion 2 cases, radius nonunion 7 cases. And then calculate and statistical analyse the mean density and MVD according to separate samples. Results:The mean density of BMP-2 is 0.1542±0.0459 (hypertro),0.1360±0.0378 (atro); The mean density of CD34 is: 0.2702±0.0983(hypertro),0.2523±0.0876(atro); MVD:15.375±4.8194 (hypertro),14.199±5.8128 (atro). So there is no statistically significant difference between the two sets of data(P>0.05).Conclusion:Hypertrophic nonunion tissue have the similar osteogenic ability and microvessel status with atrophic nonunion tissue.
