Objective: To observe the three-dimensional morphological feature and spatial relationship between the embryonal rat anterior lobe posterior lobe and rathke sack.of pituitary by use serial section three-dimensional reconstruction research.. Pituitary development was discussed, in order to provide morphological evidence of clinical illness.Methods: Take normal rat embryo(E13.5, E14.5, E15.5 (E16.5, E17.5, E18.5, E19.5 days fetal rats) produce paraffin specimens. After the processes of serial section from the sagittal plane, Take the slices which contained the pituitary gland to HE stainDyeing results using digital image acquisition device digital processing after the prosess of registration we can get the Data set of the pituitary. structure division was taken to get the digital of the anterior lobe,posterior lobe and the rathke pouch.useing the measuring function of the software to get the morphological indexes. Through the surface and voltex method.of reconstruction Observe various structural morphological changes process and space mutual position.Results:1.The image datasets of Each specimen serial section is good, can guarantee 3d reconstruction more actual results the day behind.2.E13.5-19.5 rat anterior lobe,posterior lobe and rathke pouch is continuity change in the process of pituitary formation, appear some special 3d structure. through selecting proper reconstruction method, the result more in line with the observation habit, recognizable, observing the effect is much better.Conclusions:1. Establish a set of pituitary rat embryo development of visualization model. Get the volume and other data of the anterior pituitary, posterior pituitary, rathke pouch2. Through the surface and voltex reconstruction,the process of development of the pituitary can be reflects clearly.the pituitary development data can be set.3. Get the volume of pituitary anterior lobe,posterior lobe and rathke sack of each days. Provide the reference for the pituitary development.4. Establish the pituitary 3d model, geometric similarity is good.
