Objective:To investigate the expression of Tumor necrosis factor-Related poptosis-Inducing Ligand (TRAIL) receptors DR5 and DcR1 in human's non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) and the relationship with clinical significance and prognosis.Methods:PV-9000 method was used to detect the expression of DR5 and DcR1 in 45 case of NSCLC and 42 case of non-cancer-ous adjacent lung tissues and the relationship between them and chinic-pathological parameters were analyzed.Results:DR5 presents mostly (39/45) in tumor tissues with 24 high-expressions, while mostly (32/42) in non-cancerous adjacent lung tissues with only 5 high- expressions. The statistics difference of these two sets of dada is up to(P<0.05). Comparatively DcR1 only presents 13/45 in tumor tissues lower than 30/42 in non-cancerous adjacent lung tissues, with statistics difference(P<0.01). The expression level of DR5 in non-small lung cancer tissue was correlated with clinical stage, and the express level of stageâ…¢was significantly lower than that of stage I and stageâ…¡(P<0.05) , while in our experiment the expression of DR5,DcR1 in non-small lung cancer tissue had no evidently correlation to patient's gender, age, the size of tumor and even the prognosis.Conclusions:1.TRAIL receptors expresses in both non-small cell lung cancer tissues and noncancerous adjacent lung tissues, however, existing the difference of expression levels.2.The high expression level of DR5 might play an important role in TRAIL-inducing apoptosis of non-small cell lung cancer tissues.
