Objective: Explore low intensity warfarin in elderly patients with nonvalvular atrial fibrillation prevention merger ischaemic stroke roleMethods: Elderly patients with chronic non-valvular persistent atrial fibrillation 140 cases, respectively non-high risk of stroke risk, medium risk, low-risk group, according to ACC / AHA / ESC AF antithrombotic Guide (2006), were divided into the warfaringroup and aspirin, warfarin groups were divided into low-intensity group and standa-rd intensity anticoagulation group, part of the stroke patients at high risk for fearof bleeding side effects of warfarin and the INR monitoring inconvenience choose to accept oral aspirin therapy. Results for the aspirin group, 56 cases of oral aspirin100mg / d, low-intensity warfarin group, 54 patients control the INR between 1.5 and 2.0, the standard intensity warfarin group, 30 patients in the control of INR2.0 ~ 3.0. Each patient followed up for 1.5 to 2 consecutive years, the observed 3 patients the incidence of ischemic stroke and hemorrhagic complications of the situ -ation.Results:①The three groups of patients age,sex and hypertension,diabetes,hyperlipidem-ia, coronary heart disease and other complications and with nosignificant difference in incidence;②low-intensity warfarin group the incidence of stroke by 3.7%,standardstrength warfare group stroke rate was 3.3%,aspirin in patients with atrial fibrillationwas 8.93% incidentce of stroke,low-intensity warfarin group and standard intensitywarfarin difference between the incidence of stroke not statistically significant, (P> 0.05);③low intensity and standard intensity warfarin and aspirin group, the incidence of stroke difference between the incidenc-e of stroke were significant (P <0.05);④Low intensity warfarin group hemorrhagic complication rate was 3.3%, thestandard intensity warfarin bleeding complication rate was 10%, 1.57% in aspirin, low-intensity warfare and aspirin group rate of bleeding with standard intensity warfarin group differences were statistically significant, (P <0.05);⑤low-intensity warfarin and aspirin in the incidence of bleeding complications,no significant differe -nce between groups ( P> 0.05).Conclusion: Low-intensity warfare in the prevention of non-valvular atrial fibrillationpatients with stroke in the more obvious effects of aspirin. With standard intensitywarfarin is similar, and significantly reduced bleeding complications, people adapt to stroke prevention and treatment of atrial fibrillation combined to improve treat -ment coverage and reduce the incidence of stroke in atrial fibrillation combined. Therefore, low-intensity warfarin to prevent atrial fibrillation complicated with ischemic stroke is safe and effective...
