Objective The objectives of this study were to study the effect of Glutamine on the expression of Hsp70 and NF-κB in vitro.Method SD rats were injected the drug under different randomly divided into 4 groups (n= 15), A group (NS) control group, B group (Gln0.15g/kg), C group (Gln0.45g/kg), D group (Gln0.75g/kg) as the experimental group that glutamine treatment group, each rat was sacrificed by cervical injections 4h. Removal of the eye, wash the blood under sterile conditions, carefully removing the muscle, fascia and other soft tissue, containing 320kU/L gentamycin saline flush 10min. Have cut the sclera posterior pole, remove the lens. Heat shock protein 70 and NF-κB expression was detected by ELISA in different times (3,12,24h) after the lenses of rats that were cultivated in MEM cultual medium. Result The expression of HSP70 in the glutamine groups is significantly higher than the control group(P<0.05);On the contrary, the expression of NF-κB in the glutamine groups is significantly lower than the control group(P<0.05). UV-induced lens epithelial cells the expression of HSP703,12,24 h with glutamine in the intervention group than the control group were increased, and glutamine concentration and interfere with the time along with increased expression of HSP70.Conclusion Glutamine can induce the expression of Hsp70 in the lens epithelial cells of rat and Inhibit the expression of the NF-κB.
