Objective:To observe the protective effect of hydrogen sulfide on the acute myo-cardial ischemia induced by isoprenaline (ISO) in rats.Methods:Thirty male SD rats,weighing 200-250 g,were randomized into 3 grou-ps (n= 10):control group,model group and NaHS group.Acute myocardial ischemia was induced by multi-point subcutaneously injection of ISO in rats of model and NaHS group.Saline(0.1 ml/100 g) or NaHS(50 mmol/L,0.1 ml/100 g) was adminis-trated comparatively in control group or NaHS group.Electrocardiogram (ECG) was recorded about 70 mins.Serum alanine aminotrasferase (ALT),aspartate aminotrasfe-rase(AST),creatine kinase(CK) and creatine kinase isoenzyme(CK-MB) were meas-ured.The pathological changes of heart tissue were determined.Results:After recording 10 mins,ST segment of rats decreased obviously in mo-del group than that in control group(p<0.05).ST segment began to rise group after 30 min and recovered in 50 min(p<0.05,compared with model group).The serum levels ALT,AST,CK and CK-MB were lower in NaHS group than those in model gr-oup.Pathology examination indicated obvious myocardial edema,myocardial ce- lls degeneration and myocardial cell eosinophilic in model group.NaHS group signific-antly ameliorated myocardial edema, myocardial cells degeneration and myocard-ial cell eosinophilic.Conclusion:Hydrogen sulfide has an obviously protective effects on rats of acute myocardial ischemia induced by ISO.
