Objective:To investigate the inhibitory effects of 10 Tibetan medicine extracts on adenovirus and influenza virus A (H1N1) in vitro, comparing to the level of these extracts against the respiratory viruses. By screening some extracts, which are able to resist the virus, the stronger ingredients of the antiviral acvtivity are concluded to make a progress to provide the theoretical basis for the study in vivo.Methods:1.The study on the Tibetan medicine extracts against adenovirus in vitro:According to the cytopathic effect (CPE), it is determined about the toxicity on the medicines to Hep-2 and the activity on the medicines against adenovirus in vitro. 2. The study on the Tibetan medicine extracts against influenza virus A (H1N1) in vitro:the toxicity on the medicines to MDCK is tested by the MTT, and the plaque forming unite assays (PFU) is used in the study on the medicines against influenza virus A (H1N1).Results:1.The study on the Tibetan medicine extracts against adenovirus in vitro: According to the CPE, The CC50 (mg/ml) of the Tibetan medicine extracts are the 0.872, the 0.438, the 0.500, the 0.872, the 0.438, the 0.308, the 0.438, the 0.500, the 0.500 and the 0.438 respectively, while the EC50 (mg/ml) are the 0.288, the 0.158, the 0.162, the 0.244, the 0.154, the 0.097, the 0.250, the 0.281, the 0.141, and the 0.221. In the end, we can come to the conclusion that these extracts TI are the 2.819, the 2.772, the 3.086, the 3.574, the 2.844, the 3.175, the 1.752, the 1.779, the 3.546. and the 1.982.2. The study on the Tibetan medicine extracts against influenza virus A (H1N1) in vitro:By the MTT, the datas about the extracts CC50 (ug/ml) can be listed as follows:the 1621.84, the 720.97, the 595.54, the 873.60, the 1779.22, the 440.40, the 543.13, the 833.29, the 1027.98. the 540.10, and the extracts EC50(ug/ml) are reached through the plaque forming unite assays(PFU), following with the datas:the 1662.90, the 1187.00, the 254.94. the 239.68. the 2898.77. the 1372.00. the 891.36, the 115.00. the 299.33, and the 289.69. then the extracts TI are separated among the 0.975, the 0.607, the 2.336, the 3.645, the 0.614, the 0.321, the 0.612, the 1.683, the 3.434, the 1.864.Conclusion:1.The study on the Tibetan medicine extracts against adenovirus in vitro:the inhibitory effects of 10 Tibetan medicine extracts on adenovirus in Hep-2 are different, and the extracts of the antiviral activity from the strength to the weakness are the D, I, F, C, A, E, B, the originality powder, H, and the G.2. The study on the Tibetan medicine extracts against influenza virus A (H1N1) in vitro:the variety is existed on the inhibitory effects of 10 Tibetan medicine extracts on influenza virus A (H1N1) in MDCK, and the strongest one is the D, followed by the I, C, the originality powder, H, A, E, G, B, and the F. Moreover, according to the study in vitro, the stronger antiviral activity ingredients are induced to supply the evidence for the further experiments in vivo.
