Abstract/Summary:
Objective:This thesis explores the new order and method to treatment Paralysis with acupuncture and moxibustion by means of combining acupuncturology archaic literature research and statistic analysis. Methods:By making use of "The Encyclipaedia of Traditional Chinese Mesicine" and "Complete Collection of Pictures and Books of Old and New Times", we retrieve the literature of Paralysis, and then ascertain the available acupoints to treat Paralysis, then make the data of acupoints normative to set up database, and adopt frequencies to statistic and analysis the datas. Finally, through combining the knowledge of ancient times, we analyze the statistical result by making use of the theory of Acupuncturology of TCM.Results:1. This research assemble 116 acupoints, and the total times of using the points is 974 times.2. This research finds that totally 208 clauses in the literatures remind 4 methods to stimulate the acupoints which include acupuncture, moxibustion, acupuncture and moxibustion at the same time, and bloodletting. There are 481 times that reminding the stimulation, and the moxibustion is the most common methods.3. This research finds that seldom clauses in the literatures reminds the reinforcing and reducing methods, which only find 49 clauses including 3 methods:the reinforcing, the reducing, and the reducing before reinforcing. In these clauses, the Point GB37 and the Point BL62 are the most common points which are used the reinforcing methods.4. In this research we find the abecedarian characteristics of using the acupoints to treat Paralysis:the Point ST36, the Point GB37, the Point BL59, the Point SP6, and the Point KI7 are the most common points by used to treat Paralysis; the Three Yang Meridians of Foot are the most common meridian among 14 meridians; the acupoints on the four limbs of the body, especially the lower limbs, are the most common acupoints than any other parts of body; the Specific-acupoints are used the most; what's more, the Five Streaming Points, the Source points, the Connecting points, the Lower Confluent points, and the Crossing points are the most common acupoits among the used Specific-acupoints; two groups of acupoints are used the most which are the Point ST36+the Point SP6 and the the Point LI4+Point LI 11+the Point LI15.Conclusions:Combining the study inspiration and the tutor's experience, the article provide new clues to the prevention and treatment of Paralysis with the means of above study. First of all, the Paralysis is so complex that we should clear the diagnosis and the differential diagnosis. Secondly, we should pay attention to the choosing acupoints to treat the Paralysis. On the one hand, we can treat for Paralysis at Yangming meridian as the "The Yellow Emperor's Classic of Internal Medicine" says, and on the other, we can also choose the acupoints of Urinary Bladder meridian of Foot Tai-yang, Gallbladder meridian of Foot Shao-yang, Liver meridian of Foot Jue-yin, and Kidney meridian of Foot Shao-yin. Also, the acupoint on four limbs should be used more than any other parts of body. The Specific-acupoints, especially the the Five Streaming Points, the Source points, the Connecting points, the Lower Confluent points, and the Crossing points should be more used. We can choose two groups of acupoints to treat Paralysis:the Point ST36+the Point SP6 and the the Point LI4+Point LI 11+the Point LI15. According to the research, there is a prescription of treating Paralysis by choosing the acupoints of four limbs: the Point LI4, the Point LI11, the PointLI15, the Point LU7, the Point ST36, the Point GB37, the Point BL59, the Point SP6, and the Point KI7, the Point GB40, the Point ST31. Then, to cure Paralysis diseases, we should use the right stimulation. Paralysis often appears the deficiency syndrome while in the last stage, then it is suitable to use the moxibustion. At last, the prevention and treatment should be paid enough attention as the same,, and it is necessary to emphasize the nursing care.
