Anatomical structure is complex, its eyes more, orbit around adjacent tissue tip of vessels, muscles and nerves, and such important structure concentrated land. The tumor disease occurs in orbit for various, common vasogenic, neurogenic, lacrimal organizations and other. Currently in operation in treatment of tumor orbital mainly due to tumor location, nature, size, different ways, surgery is also different, commonly used surgical approaches have performed before the open road bulb by intraoperative, open ethmoid sinus orbital medial orbital art, lateral open open joint inside bulb and transcranial open intraoperative orbital art, etc. Operation fine eyes, especially in deep tumor, easy orbital infringing optic nerve, operation difficulty big, complication also more. One of the most serious complications is lossing of vision. In recent years, with imaging, and the development of the surgical instrument and surgical skills improvement, orbit surgical methods also changed, most tumors can be removed completely, complication also gradually decrease. But some of the malignant tumor resection for only part of the cure, postoperative radiotherapy or chemotherapy, with can reduce the recurrence, prolong life. Objective: this paper retrospectively analyzed our (jilin university sino-japanese friendship hospital) ophthalmology in January 2005 to December 2010 line of surgical treatment of tumor 78 cases within orbital, surgical approach, clinical curative effect, the postoperative omplications of research and analysis. Results: (1) : 78 cases of tumor resection in patients with tumor resection, all partial resection for 73 cases, 5 cases. (2) follow-up: 78 patients relapse in 8 cases, recurrent as follows: lacrimal mixed tumors in 2 cases, nerve fibroma 2 cases, myxoid cyst, 1 case with lymphoma in 1, 1 case of inflammatory pseudotumor 1 cases, this meningioma. The recurrence rate: by 10.25%. (3) 45 patients choose intraoperative road before open cases, hemangioma orbital 16 cases (35.5%), lipoma 5 cases (11.1 percent), skin colloid cyst 8.89%) found 4 cases (9 cases (20.0% total mass). 31 routine lateral orbital art, open by the external wall 28 cases of orbital cut, 4 cases, nerve fibroma hemangioma 9 cases, deep skin colloid cyst 3 cases, schwannomas a11 6 cases 1 carcinoma patients, 4 cases, lymphoma, 1 case of meningiomas. 3 cases by the lateral orbital medial open joint operation in 1 case, deep hemangioma, nerve fibroma, 1 case with schwannoma is one example. Neurogenic tumor 17 cases (54.83%). (4) common complications were: oculomotor disorders eye damage cases, 8, 9 cases of orbital hemorrhage, 10 cases were 6 cases blepharoptosis pupil change in 6.Conclusion: (1).Surgical treatment is effective method of orbital tumors. (2).The road before orbital art applies to most open before leaning position and the hemangioma part benign. (3).The lateral orbital art applies to open after, muscle cone ball within the tumor.(4).Orbital tumor enucleation for common complication of orbital hemorrhage, vision loss, oculomotor disorders and recurrence.
