With the development of society and living standards in recent years, the prevalence of HUA increased year by year, which has become a important social issue. HUA is one of the metabolic diseases which is caused by excretion of uric acid increase or decrease due to many reasons. If the serum uric acid level of male is higher than 420μmol/L at 37℃, we can define that hyperuricemia; If the serum uric acid level of female is higher than 350μmol/L at 37℃, we can define that hyperuricemia. Objective:To analyze the distributing characteristics of SUA and risk factors of hyperuricemia among Han nationality and Korean nationality in the rural area of JI LIN Province. Methods:In this study, the samples were peasant coming from rural areas of Jilin Province who were over the age of 40.The surveying related information was collected by visiting people at home. The surveyors were strictly trained by teacher who take charge with the study. We try our best to make sure that operative procedure and methods were standardized. Questionnaire includes general Situation previous state of health and health status of family members and so on. Physical examination cantons height, weight, waist circumference, hip circumference etc. Detection of biological samples cantons serum uric acid, glucose, triglycerides, total cholesterol. The measurement data diversity was compared with t-test.The rate was compared with X2-test. The relationship between HUA and its related factors were analyzed by Logistic regression analysis.Results:734 people participated in the survey:of which 481 were female 253 were male. Han nationality accounted for 403. and Korean nationality accounted for 331. The prevalence of the HUA in JI LIN Province is 10.28%.50-70 years old people have the highest prevalence. The SUA level for male is higher than that for female. The SUA level for Han nationality is higher than that for Korean nationality, The SUA level for drinking group is higher than that for not drinking group, It's showed that gender, ethnicity, alcohol consumption, high blood glucose, GFR, AST, BMI, diuretics are the risk factors of hyperuricemia after logistic regression analysis.
