Objective The purpose of this study was to investigate the factors maybe influence on prognosis in patients with primary colorectal Non-Hodgkin's lymphoma (NHL).Methods We studied 23 cases with primary colorectal NHL, registered between June 1994 and January 2010 at hospital of Guangxi medical university. The relationship between Clinicopathological characteristics, gender clinical stage, immunop henotype, prognosis and overall survival were analyzed. Results NHL cases registered in hospital of Guangxi medical university was 23. The mean age was 39 years old. Their clinical manifestations were similar to colorectal cancer at the same position. NHL mostly were stageâ… (36.4%) and stageâ…¡(31.8%). The majority of these tumors were B-cell carcinomas (69.6%). During the follow-up time, Median survival time was 28.5 months. The overall 1-,3-,5-and 10-year survival rate of primary colorectal NHL patients was 73.0%,48.0%, 38.0% and 38.0%, respectively. The univariate analysis showed that clinical stage, gender, radical resection was correlated with prognosis. Cox multivariate analysis demonstrated lymph node and surgery were independent prognostic factor. Conclusion The clinical manifestations were similar to colorectal cancer at the same position. The majority of these tumors were B-cell carcinomas. Clinical stage and gender and radical resection were correlated with prognosis of primary colorectal NHL. Cox multivariate analysis demonstrated lymph node and surgery were independent prognostic factor.
