The Clinic Aplication Of Chinese Version Of Hepatitis B Quality Of Life Instrument

ObjectiveTo validate the Chinese version of "hepatitis B quality of life instrument, version 1.0, HBQOL V.1.0" and measure its reliability and validity, so as to understand its feasibility in China; To assess HBV patients HRQOL by HBQOL instrument; To explore the impact of patients' demographic data, disease data on HRQOL so as to provide scientific basis for improving nursing care and trement.MethodsTo assess 127 HBV patients HRQOL with HBQOL and measure its reliability and validity, HBQOL includes Psychological Well-Being (PW), Anticipation Anxiety (AA), Vitality (VA), Stigma (SG), Vulnerability (VL), Transmission (TS) and Viral Response (VR).By comparing the scores of each dimension of HBQOL in different patients and multiple regression (Stepwise method), find the main factors influencing the variation of different dimension. Multiple regression was also conducted to explore the impact of patients'demographic data, disease data on HRQOL.Results1 HBQOL showed good internal consistency (Cronbach awas ranged from 0.790 to 0.912), split-hlf reliability is 0.923. After varimax rotation, factor analysis demonstrated that eigenvalues of former 5 factors are above 1, their sums of squared loadings are 66.79%, consistent with the theory model in general. The HBQOL v1.0 overall score and 7 dimensions scores demonstrated highly statistically significant correlations with the SF-36.2 Compare dimension seore in different groups, PW differed in different marital Status, incomes and general health. AA showed significant difference among different HBV history, HBV response, Second liver 5 and general health. VT differed in different HBV knowledge and general health. SG showed significant difference among different marital Status, education level and HBV knowledge. In VL dimension, HBV patients with different Second liver 5 and general health is different. TS differed in different marital Status, the numbers of HBV patients in family, HBV response and Second liver 5. VS showed difference in different the numbers of HBV patients in family and HBV response.3 Multiple regression was conducted and shows that male patients, enjoying free medical care, married patients, good result of Second liver 5, more knowledge about HBV and good general health patients have a better HRQOL.Conclusion1 HBQOL showed good reliability and validity in the assessment of HBV patients HRQOL. It can represent the HRQOL from seven dimensions, including PW, AA, VA, SG, VL, TS, VR.2 HBV patients HRQOL is positive correlated with the result of Second liver 5 and general health. Female, single, self-paying medical services and less knowledge about HBV is negative correlated with HRQOL.3 Nurses should not only concern about the HBV patients'physical problem, but also mental, social and economic problems. Nurses should try their best to influence factors of HRQOL and take actions to improve HBV patients'HRQOL.
