| Objective:This study aims to observe and confirm the effect Combining Modified Angelica benefiting blood decoction and Western Medicine treatment treated Diabetic Nephropathy (DN) edema with the syndrome of blood stasis due to qi deficiency.Method:Using prospective randomized method,we divided 59 cases DN edema patients meeting the diagnostic criteria into two groups.29 patients were classified into control group who were treated with Western medicine foundation treatment.30 patients were classified into treatment group who were treated with Western Medicine foundation treatment and Modified Angelica benefiting blood decoction.The TCM syndromes were observed. Moreover, blood sugar,blood lipid, etc. was measured and compared before and 8 week after starting the treatment.Results:1.The total clinical effective rate of treatment group is 60.00%.which is better than that of control group with statistical(P<0.05). The effective rate of treatment group in the symptom signs is much better than that of control group with statistical (P<0.01).2. The treatment group can significantly reduce the urinary protein level,increase albumin,adjusting blood lipid.The effect is much better than that of control group with statistical (P＜0.05).3. The treatment group can significantly reduce FBG,PBG and glycated haemoglobin (P<0.05). The effect of reducing glycated haemoglobin is much better than that of control group with statistical (P＜0.05). But there was no significant difference with control group in reducing FBG,PBG (P>0.05).Conclusion:Combining Modified Angelica benefiting blood decoction and Western Medicine treatment can significantly improve the clinical effect of DN with the syndrome of blood stasis due to qi deficiency.such as edema,deficiency of vital energy and so on.in addition,this method can effectively reduce the urinary protein level,increase albumin,adjust blood lipid.then may help to slow the progression of DN.
