Objective:To investigate the improvement of three-dimensional pelvic external fixation of unstable pelvic fractures in the clinical effects and clinical practice for the stent to provide theoretical basis. Methods:The study on the March 2005 to June 2009,conform to the standards of 47 patients of pelvic fracture patients improved by randomly divided into three-dimensional treatment of pelvic external fixation group (improved group) and open reduction and internal fixation group (the control group), the two groups of 24 patients in the control group 23 cases. In accordance with a predetermined evaluation criteria evaluated to show its superiority in the treatment of pelvic fractures. Results:All surgical success, improving the group mean operative time was 23 min, bleeding volume <30ml, control group, mean operative time 2h, the average amount of bleeding 800ml. The patients were followed for 6 months to 24 months, an average of 18.4 months, which improved group excellent in 15 cases, good in 6 cases, in 3 cases, no difference were excellent and good rate was 87.5% in the control group priority 17 cases, good in 4 cases, in 2 cases, no poor person, excellent rate of 91.3%, all patients found no fracture re-displacement, non-union and delayed healing, none of thepatients with shock, deep vein thrombosis and other serious complications.Conclusion:1.Improved three-dimensional pelvis to restore pelvic external fixator can be acute stability, reduce mortality.2.Improved three-dimensional pelvic external fixation device through the self-operation to enable surgical operation becomes easy and safe. 3.Improved three-dimensional pelvic external fixator for the treatment of unstable fractures of the ultimate means of pelvis.
