Clinical Analysis On 40 Cases With Insulin-Resistant PCOS Treated By Bushenhuatanhuoxue Recipe Combined With Western Medicine

Objective: Through the combined Bushenhuatanhuoxue Recipe with Western medicine retrospective clinical analysis of Insulin- resistant PCOS patients, observation of the Chinese and Western medicine treatment of PCOS in effect.Methods: Purpose of this study in January 2008 -2009 12-month period, attendance at the Heilongjiang University of Chinese Medicine First Affiliated Hospital of PCOS gynecological clinic 40 patients with insulin resistance, Bushenhua- tanhuoxue Recipe combined application of Western medicine treatment for 6 months to observe the following indicators: acanthosis nigricans score, BMI, WHR, fasting plasma glucose(FBG), fasting insulin(FINS),insulin resistance index(HOMA-IR),total cholesterol(TC),triglyceride(TG), high density lipoprotein cholesterol (HDL-C),luteinizing hormone /follicle stimulating hormone (LH/FSH), androgen(T), menstruation and pregnancy circumstances, and before and after treatment were compared.Results : After treatment, patients with acanthosis nigricans PCOS score, BMI, WHR, FINS, HOMA-IR, TG, LH / FSH, T treatment significantly decreased compared with, HDL-C significantly increas- ed than that before treatment(P<0.05orP<0.01),menstruation and pregnancy situation improved, menstruation was 78.26%, pregnancy rate was 53.33%.Conclusion:Bushenhuatanhuoxue Recipe combined with western medicine in improving insulin-resistant PCOS,while promoting their menstrual cycle and pregnancy,is an effective treatment of PCOS.
