Study On The Serum Chemistry And The Radix Puerariae Preliminary Pharmacokinetics Of The Compound Xuesaitong Dripping Pills

Cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases have become a killer to human health and happiness in modern society. So Xuesaitong dropping pill of the textual research has a promising clinical future.The prescription include Radix notoginseng, Pueraria and Hawthorn .The attending functions of Xuesaitong dropping pill are to scatter blood stasis and detoxicate. Cerebral thrombosis and its sequelae are the diseases of the main treatment of the prescription . Rapid efficacy and reliable effect are the advantage of Xuesaitong dropping pill.The analysis methods of serum chemistry was used in this study and the components of Xuesaitong dropping pill were identified separately .The transitional elements of radix notoginseng and pueraria in rat blood are detected and compared them by UV . There are Puerarin, Ginsenoside Rb₁ and Ginsenoside Rg1 in Xuesaitong dropping pill . The further study is needed to find the other ingredients of it.HPLC was used to the study of the Pharmacokinetics of Xuesaitong dropping pill. The plasma concentrations at different time points were determined by HPLC ,which deduced the absorption process of puerarin in rats and compared with single-herb pueraria and no leaves pueraria.The result showed two-compartment in the body of rats , The other traditional Chinese medicine of Xuesaitong dropping pill can enhance the absorption of pueraria and improve the bioavailability of puerarin.
