Objective: To analyze the effects applied in the GTN therapy to search the best curative method with fewer side effects, improving the quality of life of the patients. Methods: Retrospective analyze on the 58 cases that were diagnosed as GTN at the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, the Second Hospital of Jilin University from January 2001 to January 2011.Results:①There were three kinds of treatments in our research, which were chemotherapy, chemotherapy with surgeries and chemotherapy with intervention. The proportions of the treatment of chemotherapy with surgery in low-risk and high-risk groups were 32.56% and 61.54%.The ratios was compared, there was no statistics significance(χ2=3.515,p>0.05).②In the low-risk group , the curative effect was compared between chemotherapy alone and chemotherapy with surgeries ,there was no statistics significance(χ2 =0.00054,p>0.05).The courses of treatment were also compared, there was statistics significance(t=14.4258 , p < 0.05).There were three kinds of chemotherapy regimens in low-risk group ,which were 5-FU,5-FU +KSM and EMA-CO, the curative effect was compared among who received chemotherapy alone, there was no statistics significance. The courses of treatment were also compared, there was no statistics significance .③In high-risk group, the curative effect was compared between chemotherapy alone and chemotherapy with surgeries, there was no statistics significance(χ2 =0.2743,p>0.05).The courses of treatment were also compared ,there was statistics significance(t=7.1374 , p < 0.05) .There were two kinds of chemotherapy regimens, which were 5-FU +KSM and EMA-CO, both of them had excellent curative effect.Conclusion:①Chemotherapy was the main treatment. The treatments of surgeries and interventions were auxiliary.②In low-risk group, the mono-chemotherapy of 5-FU had excellent curative effect with fewer side effects.③In high-risk group, the treatments of 5-FU+KSM and EMA-CO both had excellent curative effect.④The treatment of chemotherapy combined with surgeries could shorten treatment courses, alleviating side effects for the women who had no fertility desire.⑤The treatment of chemotherapy combined with intervention was not being practiced widely, which could be widespread used in the future.
