Objective:Compare clinical symptoms, laboratory examination and echocardiogram of patients using Methylprednisolone and intravenous immunoglobulins with patients using intravenous immunoglobulins. Explore therapeutic schedule of unresponsive Kawasaki disease. Observe curative effect and influence to coronary artery of two therapy methods.Method:Objects:To collect forty-two cases of unresponsive Kawasaki Disease in heart medical department of Shanxi Province Children's Hospital, including twenty-three boys and nineteen girls. Thess patients was divided into two groups. Treatment group:twenty cases using methylprednisolone (2mg/(kg.d)) for five days and intravenous immuglobulin(2g/kg) for one time. The control group:twenty-two cases using intravenous immunglobulin(2g/kg) for one time. All patients took aspirin. According echocardiogram, diagnose coronary artery lesion. Compare clinical symptoms, laboratory examination and echocardiogram of two groups.Result:Clinical symptoms:treatment group disappeared more quickly than the control group. There was statistical significance in two groups(p<0.05). Laboratory examination:treatment group were improved more obviously than the control group. There was statistical significance in two groups(p<0.05). Coronary artery lesion:there was not obvious difference between treatment group and the control group(p>0.05).Conclusion:Clinical manifestation and laboratory examination of patients were improved obviously using small dose methylprednisolone and intravenous immunglobulin. Change of coronary artery lesion was little in two methods. In conclusion, it is safe and effect using methylprednisolone and intravenous immunglobulin in unresponsive Kawasaki disease.
