Objective:To study the clinical features, diagnosis, and treatment of cholelithiasis complicated with cholangiocarcinoma.Methods:Clinical and pathological data were analysed retrospectively on 39 cases of cholelithiasis complicated with cholangiocarcinoma.Results:The results showed that 16 patients were diagnosed as cholelithiasis complicated with cholangiocarcinoma preoperatively, and 33 cases were diagnosed by pathological result postoperatively. Cancer occurring in hepatic hilar bile duct and common bile ducts were 14 cases and 13 cases respectively, others 5 cases located in superior segment, and 8 cases located in middle inferior segment. Statistics analyses of imageology examine results yielded that diagnosis masculine ratio of this desease by MRI, CT was higher than B ultrasonic. Serum tumor factor of the patients CA-50,CA-19-9,CEA stepped up,33 cases of cholelithiasis complicated with cholangiocarcinoma in the group were cured by surgery,10 cases undergoing radical surgery,14 cases undergoing palliative surgery, and 9 cases undergoing single exploratory surgery. Among 28 cases of follow-up clients, their mean survival time under radical resection was 3 years, while survival time under palliative surgery was between 1 month and 2 year, their mean survival time was 10 months, others under no surgical treatment died within 5 months, while most fast patient died within 1 month.Conclusions:If a patient with old age or with a long history of cholelithiasis or the serum tumor factor CA-50,CA-19-9,CEA step up, we must intensively consider the cholangiocarcinoma. Diagnosis masccline ratio of cholelithiasis complicated with cholangiocarcinoma by MRI, CT was higher than B ultrasonic.
