TCM Syndrome Differentiation Of Diabetic Retinopathy And Its Related Factors In Type

Objective through the analysis of diabetic mellitus(DM) in hospital retrospective, grouping symptoms in traditional chinese medicine(TCM) and analysing the correlation factors,to explore the etiopathogenisis and pathogenesis of diabetic retinopathy(DR).Methods The date(from 2007.12 to 2009.12) of in-patients with diabetes who have been examined the fundus at the department of endocrinnology,the affiliated hospital of ChengDu University of TCM are collected.patients who have DR or NDR are distinguished by the TCM patterns, including yin deficiency and interior heat,obstruction of dampness in middle jiao,yin deficiency of liver and kidney,stagnancy of liver qi, qi and yin deficiency,blood stasis,yin and yang deficiency,blockage of blood and wet,then to find out the distributions of those TCM patterns.meanwhile, analysing these patients of course,age,sex,blood fat,blood pressure,blood sugar,glycosylated hemoglobin etc,to explore the relationship between these index and DR.Results the pattern of qi and yin deficiency is the most one.the next is blood stasis,obstruction of dampness in middle jiao.staging accord by the diagnostic criteria of DR,the percentage of simple period(containâ… ,â…¡,â…¢period) is the most one of 98.22%. the percentage of multiplication period(containâ…£,â…¤,â…¥period)is 1.78%. the aspect of sex, P>0.05, there are no significant difference.the age less than 60s compared with larger than 60s and the course of disease less than 5 years compared with more than 5 years, there are significant difference.there are big significant difference between SBP and the happen of DR.on the contray, blood sugar and glycosylated hemoglobin don't have the big significant difference.the patients who have DN or not and who have fatty liver or hyperlipoidemia or not don't have the relationship with the happen of DR.Conclusion the pattern of qi and yin deficiency,blood stasis,obstruction of dampness in middle jiao are the most percentage in DR.it reveal that yin dificiency is the basic pathogenesis,qi and yin dificinecy is a long stage of DR.all the time of the disease, blood stasis is the foundation of the invasion of DR, it is the pathology production and also is the etiological factor. blood stasis can blockage the activities of qi and the transfusion of body fluid,then sputum and wet, sputum and blood stasis which made the disease difficult to recover. qi and yin deficiency,blood stasis,obstruction of dampness in middle jiao are also hold an important position.so the methods of supplementing qi and nourishing yin,move blood stasis,eliminating phlegm and promoting urination could be regard as therapeutic principle.according to the results of this experiment,we should pay attention to these patients whose age above 60s and the course of disease more than 5 years.we should try to control the patients'blood fat,blood pressure,it can reduce the disease rate of DR and step down the process of DR.
