Results Of Link Lubinus Classic Cemented Femoral Stems Prosthesis In Hip Arthroplasty

Objective:To evaluate the clinical result of Link Lubinus Classic femoral stems prosthesis in hip arthroplasty by clinical and radiographic outcomes. Methods:hip arthroplasty with Link Lubinus Classic femoral stems prosthesis was used to treat 74cases(80hips)from November 2002 to August 2008. A retrospective study was done to analyze clinical effect and X-ray manifestation of 74 cases(80 hips)that were followed up. Clinical evaluation was based on Harris hip score. The radiographical evaluation was performed according to orthotropia images of hip to observe the location of femoral stems prosthesis and bone cements changes around the hip.Results:All cases accepted the follow up services, the time differed from 12 to 70 months, the average time is 34.6 months. The mean Harris score before operation was 28.3points(10-54 points)but that after operation increased to 90.5points(85-100 points)at latest follow up. The x-ray show that the location of femoral stems prosthesis is satisfactory, no infection or loosing signs.All patients can walk without stick. Conclusion:The application effect of Link Lubinus Classic femoral stems prosthesis in hip arthroplasty received good effects, the clinical effects are satisfactory. The adequate preoperotive preparation, well-trained surgical operation technique and the complete rehabilitation training after the operation are the key to the success.
