Objective:Graves disease is one of the typical emotional Syndrome,its incidence is related to mood disorders.And different personality traits, coping styles can produce one or certain types of mood more easily,these can induce or make the disease worse. In this paper, we based on the status of research on Graves disease,to investigate the connection degree with personality characteristics, coping style and mood-prone, with a view to reveal the different personality characteristics and coping style of emotional characteristics of Graves disease,to interpret the mood disorders for the mechanism of Graves disease,to provide epidemiological evidence for clinical psychology intervention for the prevention and treatment of the disease.Method:Using cross-sectional survey methodology.Epidemiological investigation uses adult Eysenck Personality Questionnaire(EPQ),trait coping style questionnaire (trait coping style questionnaire, TCSQ) for the survey and analysis tools.The 581 cases of Graves disease which is in Chinese medicine hospital in Shandong Province,Shandong Qilu Hospital, Shandong Provincial Hospital,Jinan Central Hospital endocrine outpatient clinic or hospital conducted a questionnaire survey.The data was analyzed by SPSS15.0,using the multiple linear regression analysis to analysis the relevance of personality traits,coping style and 21 mood-prone.Result:The incidence of Graves disease is related to personality characteristics and coping styles,Patients with different personality characteristics and coping styles will produce different emotional experience.Where anger-in, hostile emotions and personality traits of extroversion was significantly correlated(p<0.05),the emotion of depression, disgust, excitement and extroversion were significantly negatively correlated, in which significance the depression and disgust were higher;Hostile emotions and personality characteristics of neuroticism was significantly correlated(p<0.05),the emotion of depression,disgust, regret and nervousness was significantly negatively correlated,in which significance the depression was higher(p<0.01);Depression, disgust emotions and personality characteristics of the spirit of the quality was significantly negatively correlated(p<0.05),In which significance the depression was higher(p<0.01);Hostile mood and personality characteristics of the cover was significantly positively correlated(p<0.05),Depression,disgust,happy,jealous emotions and the cover was significantly negatively correlated,in which significance the depression and emotional aversion were higher(p<0.01);Happy mood and a positive coping styles were significantly positively correlated(p<0.05),depressed mood and active coping style was significantly negatively correlated(p<0.01);Depression, emotions and minds of passive coping style was significantly positively correlated(p<0.01).Conclusion:(1)Sex, age, educational level are all factors affecting incidence of Graves disease, women, youth, by the high level of education are more vulnerable to emotional factors triggered Graves disease; (2)The personality traits of Graves disease are closely related to emotions.Different personality characteristics of patients can produce different emotion;(3)The coping style of Graves disease is related to emotions.Different coping styles will produce different emotional experience;(4) Graves is closely related with the etiopathogenisis sentiment, emotional changes, the Chinese responsible for the liver, article HI up to the evil of liver depression. Liver regulating emotions and emotional activities are very close. Application of Traditional Chinese Medicine modulating emotional abnormalities, Graves disease is an important means of prevention and treatment.
