The Study Of The Metal Clips And The Absorbable Clips In Laparoscopic Cholecystectom

Objective:To evaluate the clinical value of the use of absorbable clips in laparoscopic cholecystectomy. Methods:The mean operation time,the postoperative hospital stay,the blood loss in operation,the costs of hospitalization,the complications of 120(include: 82male cases,38feminine cases, ages from 27 to 76 years,average age 43.6 years) metal clips January 2008 to June 2009 undergoing laparoscopic cholecystectomy and 86 (include:52male cases,34feminine cases,ages from 28 to 75 years, average age 41.8 years) absorbable clips in the same time undergoing laparoscopic cholecystectomy were retrospectively analyzed and evaluated respectively. The levels of HA,â…£-C,LN were detected respectively before the operations and at 3m after the operations. Consistent with the measurement data normal distribution using t-test Count data using chi-square test. Statistical significance was accepted when the value of p was less than 0.05. Results: There was no difference between the two groups with regard to operative time,hospitalstay,postoperative complications and intraoperative blood loss. But the costs of absorbable clips group was higher than that in the other. (p<0.05) There was conspicuous difference between the two groups with postoperative 1 week levels of HA,LN. (p<0.05) There was no difference between the two groups with postoperative 1 month levels of HA,LN,â…£-C. (p>0.05) Conclusions:The absorbable clips were as effective as the metal clips in providing hemostasis and securing on the cystic duct stump.Especially for absorption,little effect on the live have a unique advantage. The clinical application and promotion of the absorbable clips are greater.
