The Background:Knee osteoarthritis is common disease,mostly by Western sodium hyaluronate,glucosamine,non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug treatment.In the ancient medical literature,records and reports of the Chinese medicine for the treatment of osteoarthritis of the knee.In recent years,osteoarthritis of the knee increased year by year and achieved good results in clinical study.But in aspect of Chinese medicine clinical research,the application of law is not enough emphasis on the other side, poor standardization of clinical trials,to some extent affected the conclusions of authenticity,objectivity,the results difficult to obtain recognition of the medical profession.Which affected the conclusion of the promotion and recognition of foreign medicine.Therefore,systematic evaluation of these treatments is important.Evidence-based medicine and systems analysis methods and results of the growing international medical and health policy-making sector has been recognized and valued,using evidence-based medicine and systems analysis method,Chinese medicine treatment of knee osteoarthritis in the literature on systematic reviews,to the promotion of Chinese medicine to the world and the future.The Objective:The purposes are to fully understand the Chinese medicine treatment of knee osteoarthritis clinical studies,the applications of scientific methods,problems, the overall level of quality of research are the assessment,and on this basis,the application of systems analysis method,met the inclusion criteria literature Meta-analysis of comprehensive data on Chinese medicine treatment of knee osteoarthritis to evaluate the clinical efficacy to promote TCM to the world and the future.The Methods:According to published domestic research of Chinese medicine treatment on knee osteoarthritis clinical efficacy and to evaluate the statistical literature.Document retrieval:China Academic Journal(CNKI) 2000-2009 published literature.Literature criteria:â‘ Article appeared in the group law"control group" message,well balanced between groups, with contrast;â‘¡A certain content of the study sample,and made a statistical analysis;â‘¢The contents of the article of Chinese medicine treatment of knee osteoarthritis clinical studies report that based on clinical epidemiological principles and methods.Literature Exclusion criteria:â‘ Subjects with knee osteoarthritis than other diseases were excluded;â‘¡The treatment group contained subjects other than medicine treatment such as Integrative Medicine were excluded;â‘¢Review, case reports,lessons learned and theoretical study The experimental study reported."Knee Osteoarthritis in the Literature of Chinese medicine system of Evaluation Form"was formed,including the literature in general,disease diagnosis and inclusion,exclusion criteria,experimental design(control of the situation, sample size,balance and control group drug use,randomization method, blinding,use of) interventions,and drug use,therapeutic efficacy criteria,the use of statistical methods,subjects factors,standardization,exit and lost to the analysis of cases,records and analysis of adverse reactions,Conclusions such as derivation and reasonable,based on the evaluation form to calculate the percentage of all the circumstances,and to evaluate its quality.On this basis,a random effects model using RevMan the Meta-analysis;on the results of different inclusion criteria sensitivity analysis;with a funnel plot analysis of publication bias.The Conclusion:Through the inclusion criteria of the literature Meta-analysis shows that Chinese medicine treatment of osteoarthritis of the knee do have a certain effect.
