Research On Blood Donation-related Citizen Education

Citizen education has become a hot research issue in Chinese education sector since the late eighties of the twentieth century. But so far, it did not theoretically reach a unified understanding for many of the basic issues of citizen education. Practically speaking, citizen education in our country was not carried out good enough and the content is not rich, therefore, a variety of topics related to citizen education are skyrocketing. This paper, discusses the fundamental problem of the development of voluntary blood donation in China, take the voluntary blood donation as an entry point to study the blood donation-related citizen education.The contents of this structure, divided into four parts:the first part takes an overview of the achievements and difficulties of blood donation, in which we can find the significance of the study of voluntary blood donation and the meaning of blood donation-related citizen education. The second part describes the wishes and the status of blood donation among our people, though which we can see the problems in our blood donation development. The third part analysis the main obstacles of the blood donation. There are:the Blood Bank's own management issues, the bond of Chinese traditional ideas, and the side effect of the market economy. Furthermore, the most key factor is the lack of the citizen education in our nation. The fourth part gives a final statement about the establishment of citizen education platform for blood donation in China. Finally, our conclusion is:in order to survive from the mess of the public welfare in blood donation, we have to use citizen education to get the score. Only do we solve the fundamental problem of our citizen education, can we steadily and healthily develop our blood donation career, and it also very benefit for the richness of our national citizen education.
