ã€Objective】To investigate the expression of miR-21,miR-98,miR-328 and miR-494 in the laryngeal squamous cell carcinoma and explore their relationships with biological behaviors, for finding pathogenesis and development of laryngeal squamous cell carcinoma and theory for clinic molecular biology therapy.ã€Methods】Using TaqMan miRNA assays to detect the expression levels of miRNAs in the laryngeal squamous carcinoma and adjacent-tumor normal tissues and discuss their associations between miRNAs and tumor biological characters according to their clinic datas.ã€Results】1. different expression levels of miR-21,miR-98,miR-328 and miR-494 are detected in the laryngeal squamous cell carcinoma and adjacent-tumor normal tissues and expression level of miR-21is higher than other miRNAs'.2.the expression level of miR-21 is higher in the laryngeal cell squamous carcinoma than these in the adjacent-tumor normal tissues(P<0.01);no differences are deteced for expression levels of miR-98,miR-328 and miR-494 in the laryngeal squamous cell carcinoma and adjacent-tumor normal tissues(P>0.05).3. the expression level of miR-21 in the tumors have relationships with TNM Staging(HC =9.272, P<0.05);and the expression levels of miR-21 in tumor tissues with cervical glandula lymphatica metastasis are significantly higher than these in the tumor tissues with no cervical glandula lymphatica metastasi(sHC=14.863,P<0.05);miR-21 has different expression in the different tumor pathology grade(HC=9.871,P<0.05);the expression level of miR-21 in the carcinoma has no relationships with smoking(U = 1.271,P>0.05)and cilnic stage(U = 1.328,P>0.05).ã€Conclusions】the higher expressions of miR-21 in the carcinoma, the higher possibility for tumor metastasis, and the expression of miR-21 have relationships with tumor TNM Staging and pathology grade, have no relationships with smoking and cilnic stage;miR-21 is related to the pathogenisis and development of laryngeal squamous cell carcinoma and may be related to its prognosis . miR-98,miR-328 and miR-494 have probably no relationships with the formation of the laryngeal squamous cell carcinoma.
