Objective:Through laboratory studies, evaluation of new zinc oxide root canal sealers after switching to improve the physical and chemical properties of the liquid. Intended to study whether clove oil in maintaining analgesia, disinfection, antiseptic, and to ensure the necessary physical and chemical properties of paste based on the eugenol content to minimize.Methods:1,The clove oil and the carbitol will be the ratio of alcohol to 1:1,2:1,3:1 mixed with zinc oxide powder were each liquid mixing paste, laboratory tests under different concentrations of zinc oxide eugenol root canal sealers all the physical properties, select the desired physical properties than those in this study a group of 2 will test the experimental group.2,Experiment 1, the new improved zinc oxide root canal filling paste (experimental group) with AHplus paste and Cortisomal paste into three groups and were tested three experimental groups paste all the physical properties, each paste test group of 10 samples averaged. The method according to ISO6876 test samples in all experimental groups shrinkage, film thickness, mobility, solubility and other physical properties. Solubility results showed that:the new solubility of zinc oxide group was 0.41%, while Cortisomal AHplus paste and paste the solubility were 2.02% and 0.62%. Known experimental data, when the clove oil mixed with the card will be alcohol liquid material as a paste, a new zinc oxide root canal sealers all the physical properties meet the standards set by ISO6876.Conclusion:1,Clove oil and the Carbitol will be the proportion of alcohol in a 2:1 mixture of liquid ingredients, as paste, the paste all the physical properties better than the other liquid paste formed by the proportion of the performance.2,The new zinc oxide film thickness of root canal sealers and AHplus than Cortisomal paste to paste the thin film thickness, and in accordance with ISO6876 in the required standards.3,The new zinc oxide paste root canal sealers and AHplus volume changes meet the standards required by ISO6876, and a new root canal filling paste zinc oxide paste and AHplus than Cortisomal paste in a small volume change rate.4,The new zinc oxide root canal sealers in diameter and Cortisomal AHplus paste and paste the diameter less the same, no difference among the three are in line with ISO6876 standards.5,Tthe new zinc oxide paste root canal sealers and AHplus solubility similar, both significantly less than the solubility Cortisomal paste. The solubility of three types of paste were in line with ISO6876 standards.
