Development And Evaluation About PRO Scale Of Coronary Heart Disease

Objective:According to the principle and processes of PRO scale which is made by U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), the testing of the scale was based on patient's feeling, and formulated the scale of PRO that would be used for the curative effect appraise of Coronary Heart Disease. Through the large sample, the multi-center clinical investigation and research, revision and evaluation of the scale reliability, validity, and amend it to form the final scale, to make it more widely used in clinical evaluation.Methods:According to specifications of PRO scale, combining with the theoretical knowledge of coronary heart disease (CHD), the item pool is formed through consulting references and inquiring the patient. Then, the established item pool can be revised or removed by experts, who can also make some language modifications to make it a raw scale. We have carried out a pilot survey by handing out a number of questionnaires to four selected hospitals located in TaiYuan and DaTong,330 copies before the treatment and after, separately. By adopting the item analysis, item response theory and some other methods,55 indicators have been filtered out to form a formal scale, which will be appraised from the reliability and effect evaluation. Reliability evaluation consists of the correlation coefficient, the Split-half coefficient and internal consistency, while the content validity, correlation of dimensions and using factor analysis evaluate construct validity make up the validity evaluation.Result:The correlation coefficient about the scale is 0.658, the physiological domain is 0.686, the psychological domain is 0.670, the social domain is 0.362 and the self-feeling is 0.689. The Split-half coefficient about the scale is 0.908, the four domains is followed by 0.794,0.957, 0.876 and 0.912. The Cronbach'sαcoefficient about the scale is 0.825, the four domains also is followed by 0.723,0.886,0.798 and 0.877. There is a strong correlation between items and their respective domains. In the physiological domain there are 13 items, of which eight items in the correlation coefficient are greater than 0.5. In the psychological domain of 18 items,13 items in the correlation coefficient are above 0.50. The items of social domain is the same as the psychological domain, but 12 items in the correlation coefficient are above 0.45. The 6 items of self-feeling domain are all above 0.60. The correlation coefficients between scale score in all domains and the total score were 0.578,0.749,0.425 and 0.416.Concluions:According to the principle and processe which is made by U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), we have developedn CHD PRO scale. By adopting the factor analysis re-test reliability and item response theory(IRT) to evaluation the scale. The results show that the scale has good reliability,validity and differentiation. According to reliability analysis the scale has good reliability, can be applied in clinical evaluation.
