In Vitro Study Of Oxaliplatin Combined With Elemene On The Proliferation And Apoptosis Of Human Lung Cancer Cells

ObjectiveTo observe the cooperative effect of oxaliplatin(L—OHP), Elemene singly or being combined on cell Droliferation and apoptosis of human lung adenocarcinoma cell line—A549,and to provide a theoretical basis for its clinical application.MethodsThe human lung adenocarcinoma cells A549 were treated with oxaliplatin and elmene singly and both of them. cell proliferation change was determined using MTT; cell apoptosis was determined using flow cytometry.ResultsElemene or oxaliplatin alone significantly Inhibited A549 cell droliferation in a dose-and time-dependent manner. The inhibitory effect of elemene combined with L—OHP was a joint synergy. Flow cytometry showed that both of the two drugs induced A549 cells apoptosis, and the combined use resulted in synergic effect.ConclusionBoth of oxaliplatin and elmene can inhibit cell proliferation and promote cell apoptosis of human lung adenocarcinoma cells A549, and combined use shows a synergic effect.
