To evaluate the intraobserver reproducibility of TLICS.MethodsTwenty-six patients who hospitalized in the department of orthopaedics of First Hospital of China Medical University between 2007 and 2009 with a diagnosis of thoracolumbar fracture were enrolled in this study..Every patient unerwent a thorough history and serial physical examinations followed by a comprehensive radiographic evaluation consisting of pain radio graphs, computed tomography scanning, and magnetic resonance imagings.Using the TLICS,the injuries were consecutively scores.Cohen'sunweighted kappa coefficients were calculated for the key parameters of each classification system and two months later do the same woek again(morphology, neurological status, status of PLC,totoal scoer, and proposed management), to analysis the reproducibiliby of TLICS.Resultsthe kappa confficients of each classificationg system((morphology, neurological status, status of PLC,totoal scoer) were 0.69,0.92,0.55,0.45,within the range of moderate and high reliability.ConclusionsThe TLICS has good reproducibility designed to simplify classification.
