PurposeObserve the view field of maxillary surgery in different roads with CTVE, and through the field measurement and description, seek the best approaches of expanding the surgical field, and removing the dead Angle, eradicating the disease. Discuss the value of clinical applications of CTVE in maxillary surgery.Materials and Methordsselect three cases of adult corpses as specimen, head CT scan, use CTVE system simulate 0 degrees endoscopic surgery with three kinds of maxillary sinus surgery road (the road of Caldwell-Luc, the road of inferior nasal meatus, the road of middle nasal meatus), and describe the vision of the various maxillar sinus surgery, to find different approaches, expand the surgical field, thoroughly remove disease, to reduce tumor recurrence.ResultsIn Caldwell-Luc procedure, we can observe wide view field, including the whole posterior wall, most of external wall, internal wall, top wall, and the bottom wall. we can also observe less than 1/2 of frontal wall. The dead angle is the frontal wall near with the open window, and a little inferior wall. To the gasification of maxillary, we can observe the whole six walls.In the road of inferior nasal meatus and middle nasal meatus, we can observe a limited range of maxillary. We can obseve the most posterior wall and small part of top wall, and external wal if we make the combination of the two roads to widen our sight. But we can't observe the internal wall, bottom wall or frontal wall either.ConclusionDifferent shapes of maxillary sinus in CTVE simulats 0 degree endoscopy has different view field. CTVE hase noninvasive, and it can clearly shows the structure of maxillary sinus, realistically simulates endoscopy and sinus surgery. CTVE has broad application prospects in clinical.
