ObjectiveCervical cancer is one of the three female malignant tumors, with the rising death rate and younger age. It is believed that FOXP3+CD4+CD25+T can regulate the immune suppression and inability, and it is highly expressed in many kinds of malignant tumors. In world wide, researches about FOXP3 is focused on its immune mechanism, its expression in carcinoma is rarely reported. In this study, we detected the expression of FOXP3and CD4 in cervical cancer cell and interstitial tissues, to evaluated the relationship between the expression of FOXP3 and its pathological clinical parameters,so as to discussion the biological meaning of FOXP3 in cervical cancer.MethodsThe SP immunohistochemical method was used to detect the expressions of FOXP3 and CD4 proteins in 68 cases of cervical cancer,47 cases of cervical intraepithelial neoplasia and 12 cases of chronic cervicitis, both in cervical cells and interstitial cells. To analyze the significance of FOXP3 in the development of cervical cancer. SPSS16.0 software was employed to analyze all data, p<0.05 with significance.ResultsThere is no expression of FOXP3 in cases of chronic cervicitis, while it is highly expressed in interstitial tissue of cervical cancer (0.7943)with yellow brown production, obvious higher than CINⅢgroup (0.3796), with great significance(P<0.001);From group CINI to group CINⅢ, the expression intensity is increasing, but the analysis has no significance. FOXP3 is expressed in the cytoplasm of cervical cancer cells, MOD intensity of phaseⅡcervical cancer is 0.503±0.062, higher that phaseⅠgroup (0.443±0.018) (P<0.05).In poorly differentiated cervica cancer,MOD is 0.486±0.064,obvious higher of highly differentiated group; there is no significant difference between moderate and poorly differentiated group(P>0.05),there is no correlation of FOXP3 and lymphoid metastasis in our study.Conclusion1.we find the expression of FOXP3 is correlated with the development of cervical cancer; FOXP3 is highly expressed in the interstitial tissues of cervical cancer, no significant difference among different grades in CIN.2.The expression of FOXP3in cervical cancer cell is related with the clinical phase and differentiated grade except the lymphoid metastasis.
