Object:To evaluate the diagnosis and suitable treatment methods of lower limb arterial occlusive disease.Methods:The clinical data of 22 patients with lower limb arterial occlusive disease admitted to the second affiliated hospital of zhejiang university collage of medicine from January 2000 to march 2010 were retrospectively analyzed.Results:Among these 22 patients, there were 17mails and 5 females with the average age 71.6±7.3.9 cases smoke heavily.11 cases suffer from hypertension,4 cases suffer from diabetes,5 cases suffer from coronary atherosclerotic heart disease. B-ultrasound was used in all cases. MRA was used in 5cases, CTA was used in 15cases, DSA was used in 2 cases. In these 22cases, occlusion is mainly found in femoral artery, about 14.15 cases accept operation therapy,7 cases accept anticoagulation therapy.19 cases were cured,3cases gave up treatment.Conclusion:Old smokers with hypertension have high risk of lower limb arterial occlusive disease. Surgery is an effective treatment. Different operations should be chosen according to the status of the patients.
