ObjectiveTo introduce and evaluate the application of Fast Track Multi-Discipline Treatment(FTMDT) in patients with colorectal caner by reducing postoperative hospital stay, complications and the overall cost.MethodsSelect compliant patients with colon or high rectal cancer, whom were randomly divided into FTMDT group (laparoscopic surgery+fast-track treatment) and CT group (open surgery+conventional treatment). By grouping patients in each group were conditioned on the interventional processing. Statistical analysis has been completed with clinical data of the two sets, and their postoperative recovery is to be evaluated. ResultAll eight cases of the two sets that has been completed. Four patients were interfered by FTMDT and the remaining four were interfered by CT.Both FTMDT and CT group had no complication after surgery. The postoperative clinical date of FTMDT and CT group, respectively, were 37.13±12.30 hours and 60.00±6.93 hours for exhaust time,4.25±0.25 days and 4.75±0.75 days for defecation time, 24374.5±1034.7yuan and 25152.8±2037.9 yuan for hospital charges.ConclusionsApplication of FTMDT in patients with colon or high rectal cancer can reduce postoperative hospital stay, complications and the overall cost.
