Objective To discuss the clinic effect and possibly superiority of the binding pancreaticogastrostomy(BPG) in pancreaticoduodenectomy and mid-segmental pancreatectomy. Methods A retrospective review and comparison of the complication between binding pancreaticogastrostomy and binding pancreaticojejunostomy, who underwent pancreaticoduodenectomy and mid-segmental pancreatectomy from May 2009 to March 2010 in SRRS hospital. Results 13 cases were with binding pancreaticogastrostomy, among whom one had the complication of pancreatic fistula, and had no cases with the complication of dead during the operation, hemorrhage after operation, intestinal fistula, bile leak, gastric leak, peptic ulcer. The incidence of complication is 7.7%.8 cases were with binding pancreaticojejunostomy, among whom 1 had the complication of pancreatic fistula combining hemorrhage,1 case had the complication of peptic ulcer. No cases with the complication of dead during the operation, intestinal fistula, bile leak, gastric leak. The incidence of complication is 50%. But the comparison of data has not statistically significant.Conclution Pancreatic fistula is an important complication in the operation of pancreaticoduodenectomy. Our data has not statistically significant because of limited quantity of patient. But it indirectly reflect that binding pancreaticogastrostomy is better than binding pancreaticojejunostomy in preventing from complications.
