Objective: To observe the expression of Cyclin D in the bone marrow mononuclear cells of Myasthenia Gravis(MG) patients. Methods: The bone marrow samples were collected from ten MG patients and five normal controls. The bone marrow mononuclear cells were isolated with Ficoll-paque. The total RNA was extracted according to the method of Trizol-chloroform-isopropyl alcohol. The mRNA expres- sion levels of Cyclin D isoforms were detected by semi-quantitative RT-PCR.Results: The Cyclin D1 mRNA could not be detected in the bone marrow mononuclear cells of MG patients and normal persons, but the Cyclin D2 and Cyclin D3 could be detected. And the expression levels of Cyclin D2 and Cyclin D3 in MG patients and normal controls show no significance. (pï¹¥0.05)Conclusions: The expression levels of Cyclin D in MG patients are as the same as those in normal controls shows that there is no significant cell phase transition disorders at the G1 phase in our study.
