PurposeAccording to the research morbidity of pneumoconiosis in a container manufacturer of Qingdao City, to investigate the reasons for high, it is found that the existing problems and its prevention. And the data for the prevention and controllment of the occupational disease has been revised. And for testifying its feasiblity and validity, its former and present experimental data has been compared with each other. As the reference, the research can help Qindao's administration and sanitation departments to make effective prevention approaches.ApproachesAccording to the characteristics of the occupational disease in container manufacture, the scene investigation and experiment is used for the quantitative analysis. Through the hygiene investigation, the factors for causing the occupational disease can be confirmed in the working environment during the manufacturing process. The questionnaires are widely used to find out the effect about the actual prevention. Under the full-burden manufacturing condition, executing the state criterion and its corresponding standard, the nocuous chemical substance, physical factor and powder are tested. Results1. The harm for the container manufacture consists of the noise, ultraviolet radiation, electric welding soot, manganese, ozone, xylene etc. Among them, the harm of the noise, electric welding soot, manganese, ozone, xylene is seriously severe. After the facility alteration, the electric welding soot, manganese, ozone, xylene can be distinctly decreased, but the effect for reducing the noise is not evident.2. The investigation covers 400 employees, they are all male. Their average age is from 19 to 46.The age for 94.8% of employees is from 20 to 40. Their working ages are mostly from 1 to 10 years. Their education degree is mainly junior high school. The junior high school degree accounts for 62.3%, and the senior high school or technical secondary school accounts for 31.0%. The registered permanent residence is mainly country.3. In 2008, the researched container manufacture corporation held the physical examination involving 1850 employees. But the actual employee number of taking the physical examination was only 1342. The physical examination quantity was 72.5%.The abnormal cases included 34 X-ray problems,2.5%; 21 hearing problems, 1.6%; 7cardiogram problems,0.5%; The irrelevant cases included 30hemic abnormities,2.2%;. After the consultation, those cases were not caused by the occupational disease.34 liver abnormities,2.5%; 83fat livers,6.2%; 44 high blood pressures,3.3%.4. So far, totally, there are 13 occupational disease cases. The patients are all whose jobs are the electric welding. They are all young, male migrant workers. The key people of this occupational disease are the migrant workers.Conclusions1. The working environment in container manufacturing corporations is rather bad. So the harm to its employees is gravely severe. After the facility alteration, the prevention is taking effect. But still, some nocuous substances are over the bodyharm limitaion. Therefore, the management should pay more attention to the professional sanitation supervision, be more aware of the precaution and self-prevention and better the working environment.2. The awareness for the prevention on the occupation disease is rather poor. The degree for this can beneficially influence the employees'behaviors on the prevention of the occupation disease.3. The physical examination need to be standardized. Before the employees work in this field, they should be pertinently examined. When the employees are working in this field, they should take more comprehensive items for the physical examinations. After the employees leave the post, they should be organized to take the physical examinations.
