Percutaneous transluminal coronary angioplasty (percutaneous transluminal coronary angioplanty, PTCA), the first time since 1977 Gmntzig used to treat coronary heart disease since, at present, the main treatment for the coronary heart disease. However, PTCA is an invasive operation often complications. Complications not only increase patient discomfort and suffering, even life-threatening. Domestic and international nursing community is actively exploring on the complications of care. But by the early care and intervention to eliminate or reduce the complications of PTCA coronary heart disease,Rare today, most people said that PTCA is percutaneous coronary intervention (percutaneous coronary intervention, PCI). In this study, to investigate the preoperative nursing intervention to eliminate or reduce the complications of PCI in order to accumulate experience in care and improve quality of care, and promote the use in clinical care. Objective:To evaluate the impact of comprehensive preoperative nursing intervention on the postoperative complications of patients with coronary heart disease who received percutaneous coronary intervention(PCI), accumulate nursing experience, improve the quality of care, provide a theoretical basis to eliminate or reduce the complications of PCI and promote the use of preoperative nursing intervention in clinical nursing. Methods:One hundred and nine patients with cardiovascular disorders were selected who met the inclusion criteria for the study in the First Affiliated Hospital of Anhui Medical University from January 2008 to December 2009. All the patients were randomly divided into two groups:experimental group with 110 patients and control group with108 patients.routine care was implemented in both groups, patients in the experimental group were treated with preoperative psychological intervention, cognitive intervention, behavior intervention beside routine care, then psychological anxiety conditions and the incidence of complications were observed in both groups after PCI.Results:Anxiety scores of patients in the control group were significantly higher than that of patients in experimental group (p<0.01);postoperative complications of PCI were dramatically reduced in experimental group when compared with the control group (p<0.05).Conclusion:On the basis of regular care, the preoperative psychological intervention, cognitive interventions, and behavioral interventions can reduce the incidence of anxiety and PCI complications, which provides a theoretical basis for PCI perioperative clinical care and improve the success rate of PCI.
