Diabetes is one of the most common chronic diseases. With the improvement of living standard, an aging population and increased incidence of obesity, diabetes incidence increased year by year. By he latest survey, the incidence of diabetes in China reachs 2%, China has reached 92 million diabetic patients, the number of pre-diabetes patients are more than 148 million, another top "world best" hat has put on the head of China, we have got ahead of India, as the world's largest number of diabetic state. The patients need to use the hypoglycemic drugs in a long time, and their efficacy and disease mainly rely on observation of blood glucose monitoring, the fast blood glucose meter as part of a new type of blood glucose concentration testing instruments, has quickly entered the family in many patients, because of its simple operation, convenient etc. At present, the fast blood glucose meters are mostly used glucose oxidase biosensor, as the temperature has a certain extent effect on the glucose oxidase's activity , there is a certain bias when different temperatures measured blood glucose concentration, in order to improve detection accuracy, and to eliminate bias, constant temperature control is critical for glucose oxidase sensor. This paper presents a fast blood glucose meter which has a constant temperature control function to glucose oxidase sensors, this fast blood glucose meter has the all-digital logic device design, by use of DSP's powerful control and computing capabilities, instead of hardware circuitry function, software designed not only saves the hardware costs, but also protects the stability of the circuit to avoid the changes of hardware circuit's parameters due to the environmental impact, while the use of software flexibility and change will improve the system's intelligence and program-controlled.This article includes the following segments:1. Describes the current development of fast blood glucose meters, the basic principles of three blood glucose testing technology have been outlined , and briefly describes an Photoelectric Non-Invasive Blood Glucose Detector.2. Glucose oxidase biosensor is discussed and analyzed, focusing on analysis of temperature's effect on the activity of glucose oxidase.3. According to the design ideas, we determined the design of this system, and described the design works.4. Introduce the core controller - digital signal processor (DSP) used in the design, its structural features and functional modules are analyzed, and its peripheral equipment and its external chips's connections with DSP are discussed.5. Individual functional modules are analyzed and discussed, explore their working principle and features, including the constant potential incentive module, temperature control module, liquid crystal display module and key module etc.6. Describe the system software design, according to the modular design concept, give the framework of the system, while the main program, focuse on analyzing the system data acquisition and processing subroutine, temperature control subroutines, keyboard and display drivers and automatic shutdown subroutines sub-procedures.7. Establish the system's temperature control system mathematical modeling, through simulation, obtain a set of optimal PID control parameters.8. Through the blood glucose testing experiments, analyzed and discussed the relationship between the blood glucose concentration and the response current, the relationship between the response time and response current, the relationship between the excitation voltage and response current, and the relationship between temperature and the response current. Finally, through repeated testing verify the system's accuracy and stability.
