For the Scrophulariaceae Rehmannia (Rehmahnia glutinosa Libosch.) Fresh or dried root, is one of the famous four pregnant drug. Rehmannia is commonly used Chinese herbs nourishing and effective, widely used, so everyone in the study also of concern to Rehmahnia glutinosa Libosch, but the study of Folium Rehmahnia on the ground rarely reported. Catalpol is to the highest concentrations of iridoid glycosides alone, as the main active ingredient in radix rehmanniae, with diuretic, easing purgative, hypoglycemic, nerve protection of biological activity. In 1994, Zhou Yansheng so fresh carpet of Folium Rehmahnia from the root separation of a wide range and the same chemical composition, and found fresh carpet of Folium Rehmahnia in Catalpol also higher than the root of the Azusa alcohol content, indicating to Folium Rehmahnia have a high medicinal value. The main component of Rehmannia iridoid glycosides, non-type iridoid glycosides, violet ketones, to yellow cerebrosides, other sugars, glycosides, amino acids, inorganic ions and trace elements; pharmacology major impact on sugar metabolism, immune system, improve the blood system, cardiovascular system, anti-tumor effects, anti-aging, educational protect the gastric mucosa. To the chemical constituents of Folium Rehmahnia Folium Rehmahnia was found to have more abundant than the root catalpol resources, the development of high value; pharmacology for the treatment of skin diseases, trauma.We isolated and identified in Folium Rehmahnia of iridoid chemical constituents in this paper. Extracted by steam distillation of essential oil to Folium Rehmahnia, for GC-MS analysis,38 of which are chemical components were identified.The paper we have established a carpet of Folium Rehmahnia of Leonurus HPLC method. Description leonuride 0.232-2.320μg/μl range was linear. The methodology was verified. Leonuride of Folium Rehmahnia were measured by HPLC, the content is 0.42%. In this study, Folium Rehmahnia can be to control the quality standards to provide a reference value.
