Objective:This experiment measured snoring group and mild OSAHS group, moderate OSAHS group and the severe OSAHS group polysomnogra-phy(PSG) and clinical symptoms, indices the difference of these groups.Methed:Through analysis of 176 cases of snoring PSG data (excluding mixed and central sleep apnea syndrome),and classfy these date according to sleep apnea hypopnea index (AHI):AHI<5 for the snoring group,5 40 with severe OSAHS group.Statistics and compa-rative analysis the clinical date and the PSG data of 4 groups. The clinical data include age, sex,BMI,with or without complications (such as diabetes, hypertension, heart disease),with or without apnea, daytime sleepiness, arousal, memory loss, decreased attention; While the PSG data include sleep apnea hypopnea index (AHI),arousal index(AI),average oxygen saturation (MSaO2),maximum oxygen reduction (%).Results:1.Among the 176 cases of patients,146 patients aged 30 to 60,accounting for 75.65%.Among different of AHI groups, body mass index (BMI) values were significant differences (P<0.05).Pairwise comparison showed that compared with OSAHS group, the BMI of snoring group significantly reduced, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05); the BMI of mild OSAHS group were significantly lees than severe OSAHS group, and the decrease is significant (P<0.05);the BMI between the mild and moderate OSAHS group, and between the moderate and severe OSAHS group was no significant difference (P> 0.05).Age distribution between the groups was no significant difference (P> 0.05). 2.Among different AHI groups, the difference of MAI,maximum oxygen reduction(%),MSaO2 was statistically significant (P<0.05).Pairwise comparison showed the largest reduction of oxygen increases with the AHI, and the differences among the groups was statistically significant (P<0.05). MAI and MSaO2 of severe OSAHS group than other 3 groups was sig-nificantly different (P<0.05).There was no significant difference among the noring group, mild and moderate OSAHS groups (P> 0.05).3.Among different AHI groups, apnea, nocturnal arousal, daytime sleepiness, decreased attention, memory decline were significant differences (P<0.05).4.BMI and AHI were significant positive correlation (R= 0.398,P <0.01);MSaO2 with AHI has a significant negative correlation (R=-0.623, P<0.01);MAI and AHI were significant positive correlation (R= 0.567,P <0.01);maximum oxygen reduction and AHI has a significant positive correlation (R= 0.772,P<0.01).Conclusion:1.The incidence of OSAHS are relate to age,30 to 60 years are its high ages, but its severity has nothing to do with age.2.BMI,MAI,MSaO2 and maximum oxygen reduction were significantly correlated with AHI,through the above clinical indicators we can judge whether the sleep disturbance and its extent.3.There were significant differences in the incidence of clinical manifestations between the groups. By asking the clinical symptom we can initial select sleep disorders and determine its severity.
