Objective:The corneal injury is the most common eye injury in clinic Consummate healing of corneal injury is important for the maintenance of normal visual function and the effect of refractive surgery. LASIK treatment of myopia because of the scope, predictability, stability and security advantage of the strong, the world has become the most popular method of correction of variety of refractive error. The process of corneal healing is extremely complex after LASIK, it is a combination of many cells and cytokines in coordination with time and space.Through the collection before and after LASIK patients with tears in this experiment, double-antibody sandwich ELISA tear was detected in the concentration of Transforming Growth Factor-alph (TGF-α).This study aimed to quantify the concentration of TGF-αin tears before and after laser in situ keratomileusis(LASIK),to identify the short term changesand investigate the effect of TGF-αon cornea wound healing. Methods:LASIK was performed on 60 eyes of 30 patients, the tears specimen was collected before LASIK and 1 day,3 days,7 days and 15 days after operation. The ELISA method was used to quantitatively measure the concentration change of cytokines in tear in different time. Results:Expression of TGF-αin tears significantly increased 1 day,3 days and 7 days after LASIK(P<0.05),while there was no significant different between that before operation and 15 days after LASIK(P>0.05). The TGF-αmean value before LASIK was (175.19±61.22) pg/ml and mean values at 1 day,3 days,7days,and 15 days after LASIK were (606.01±128.69)pg/ml,(439.38±90.57)pg/ml,(243.27±75.51)pg/ml,(191.63±20.51)pg /ml, respectively. Conclusion:TGF-αof tear after LASIK by the content of the existence is a dynamic process of change from higher to lower the dynamic process of change. The change of the expression of TGF-αmay accelerate wound healing by stimulation of cell preliferation and migration, which provide a theoretical basis for a better clinical effect after LASIK. |
