1 Objective1.1 To probe into the experiences in diagnosis of the distinguished Chinese doctor Mr. He Yan-Shen by data mining research method.1.2 To summarize the treatment experiences and methods for cases of spleen diseases and stomach diseases of which Doctor He had diagnosed by re-organizing the information system for the diagnosed cases.2 MethodsA software is applied to collect the specially designed medical record of the 191 outpatients who were diagnosed by Dr. He with spleen diseases and stomach diseases and to complete the data entry. The treatment for the disorder involves the usage of 85 various kinds of Chinese medicines. The total frequency of usage is 482 times and the 3 mostly used herbs are dried tangerine peel (5.6017%), Atractylodes (5.3942%), Radix pseudostellariae (5.1867%); The main syndrome of diarrhea is constipation deficiency. The treatment for the disorder involves the usage of 32 various kinds of Chinese medicines.
