Patiients ObjectiveTo study cognitive dysfunction in different locations of cerebral infarction and to observe the characters of cognitive impaiment with cerebral infarction of different locations.MethodCognitive funtion was tested with MMSE,Montreal cognitive Assessment (MOCA) with cognitive dysfunction in different locations of cerebral infarction and cognitive dysfunction was analyzed with 7 items (ORI,EF,NAM,EME,ATT,LANG,ABS) of MOCA.Results1.The incidence of cognitive dysfunction was 62.1% with MMSE,among them, mainly with mild with mild dementia. The incidence of cognitive dysfunction was 91.9%with MOCA.2.124 patients were includes 20 patients with multiple lesions and 104 patients with single lesions. The difference of MMSE between the two groups was statistically significant (t=1.289, P<0.05);The difference of MOCA between the two groups was statistically (t=22.301, P<0.05).Cognitive function in patients with cerebral infarction is closed related to Lseion Sites.3.The difference of scores of MMSE or MOCA were statistically sigificant(P> 0.05).Four factor scores of MOCA(EF,EME,ATT,LANG)were decrease obvious in patients with the defferent infarction groups (P<0.05). There was no significant difference in NAM,ABS and ORT between the different infarction groups (P> 0.05). There was no significanct different in ADAS-Cog between different infraction groups(P>0.05).4. EF in order to lesion was the most obvious in the occipital lobe and temporal lobe damage. EME in order to lesion was the most obvious in the thalamus and temporal lobe damage. ATT in order to lesion was the most obvious in the temporal lobe damage. LANG in order to lesion was the most obvious in the temporal lobe and frontal lobe damage. Stroke of temporal lobe impaired EF,EME,ATT,LANG; Stroke of frontal lobe impaired EME,LANG Stroke of thalamus impaired EME. Stroke of occipital lobe impaired EF.5.Using Spearman correlation analysis of ADAS-Cog and MMSE,MOCA relevance. The results suggest that ADAS-Cog and the factor highly impaired MMSE,MOCA.Conclusion1. Cognitive dysfunction is a common complication of patients with cerebral infarction.2. Cognitive dysfunction is related to the locations of cerebral infarction and the munber of lesions.3. MOCA of the Chinese version of mild vascular cognitive impairment is much higher than the detection sensitivity of MMSE. This is conducive to VCI in early diagnosis and prevention and treatment of vascular dementia. ADAS-Cog and the factor highly impaired MMSE,MOCA.
