ObjectiveThrough the research on the CT appearance features of bronchioloalveolar carcinoma (BAC) to improve the clinical diagnosis of CT imaging.MethodsTo analyzed the chest CT findings of 24 cases retrospectively, which were proven BAC by pathologic and surgery, summarized the variety of CT imaging features of the disease.ResultsAccording to chest CT findings;BAC could be classified into three types:solitary nodule (n=19) 79.2%, diffuse or multiple nodules (n=3)12.5% and consolidation (n =2) 8.3%. All the 19 solitary nodule cases are peripheral distribution, among the 19 cases, the pure groud-glass opacity are found in 4 cases, bubble-like attenuation and aerated bronchus sign are found in 13, marginal spiculated sign in 17, ground-glass opacification in 11, vessel convergence sign in 5 and hollowed pleura in 12 cases; the diffuse or multiple nodule cases are all companied with the sign of small bubbles or air bronchus, and burr sign are found in 2, ground-glass opacification are found in 2;air bronchus can be found in all the consolidation pattern cases.ConclusionThe imaging features of BAC were complicated, more exact dignosis could be made through deep and careful analysis on the features of the manifestation of each type combined with clinical characteristics.
