Objective:By studying the treatment of Dan hong injection to patients with cerebral infarction, research the effects of Dan hong to MMP-2 and oxidized low-density lipoprotein (ox-LDL) in terms of the perspective of anti-oxidation.Methods:15 cases are chosen from inpatients of our hospital with acute cerebral infarction, which are consistent with the diagnostic criteria of acute cerebral infarction developed by the the Fourth Conference of National Cerebrovascular Disease in 1995, and confirmed by the brain CT or MRI examination. All selected cases were detected the level of matrix metalloproteinase-2 and oxidized low density lipoprotein antibody in the serum on the next day after admission and after 2 weeks of treatment by using the enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay. Results:Compared with that before treatment, the reduction of matrix metalloproteinase-2 level was not obvious, and the difference was not statistically significant.(P>0.05). Oxidized low density lipoprotein antibody (OX-LDLAb) level was lower than that before treatment, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).Conclusion:1. Danhong injection can reduce the level of oxidized low density lipoprotein of the patients with cerebral infarction.2. Danhong injection has no significant inhibitory effect on internal matrix metalloproteinase-2 of patients with cerebral infarction.3. In the sight of the perspective of anti-oxidant, the therapeutic effect of Danhong injection on cerebral infarction has got further support.
