Objective To observate situation of postoperative pain and analgesia in perioperastive on the common otorhinolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery. .Methods Collecting the data related the pain according to surgical procedure, and adopted standard.Patients were informed the knowlege of relative attention and postoperative pain and analgesia. Pain intensity was recorded by NRS at 1,3,6,9-12,18,24,36,48h after patient was sobered. The clinical data of postoperative management and consequence was recorded.Results Total 332 cases from 14 type of surgical procedure.Actually 281 cases were used and divided into 5 group.⑴88 cases direct laryngoscopy;⑵77 cases with nasal endoscopic surgery ;⑶69 cases with middle ear surgery under microscope;⑷24 cases with total laryngectomy and neck dissection;⑸22 cases with tonsillectomy or/and adenoidectomy. The maxia NRS in static and dynamic conditions were significant differences between the five groups(P<0.01). Compare the groups by LSD method, the degrees of pain were as follows in both static and dynamicconditions: laryngectomy and tonsillectomy group> middle ear surgery group> Endoscopic surgery and direct laryngoscopy group. Only 5.34 percent patients took analgesics after operation.Conclusions The mild or moderate pain existed in the general anesthesia surgery of otorhinolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery.The pain of direct laryngoscopy and endoscopic surgery was mild, and the pain of ear surgery under the microscope was moderate,and the pain of tonsillectomy, laryngectomy was most severe. The pain treatment in perioperastive of otorhinolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery was still at passive status.
